John's influences are Mississippi John Hurt, Rev. Gary Davis, Son House, Robert Johnson, Muddy Waters, Blind Willie Johnson, Rev. Robert Wilkens, Sonny Terry, Little Walter, Big Walter, Sonny Boy 1 and 2 and many others in the Country Blues Vain.
